Hello dears!
Hope the first few days of 2012 have been treating you well.
I decided to start the new year with a walk on Appia Antika.
It’s hard to get up out after a night of partying, but we
woke up early and started our trip at 9AM!

The Romans built a high-quality road, and the surface have
been so smooth that you could not distinguish the joints, but nowadays the cement
has eroded out of the joints, and now it's a very rough surface.

We came a long way, averaging 20-25 km.
Not bad for the
first day of the year, right?
